When An Amazing Idea Presents…
Did you place it in your pocket for another day or Did you risk it all and hedge your bet on the ‘Dream’ … of Bringing that Idea to Life?
At times we have to pivot. Change grows us.
Dreams evolve in the strangest ways and yet at times, the most simple too!?
I recall the moment this “idea”, presented itself. At times there can be so many parts whirling in our minds. It’s almost as if we are suddenly caught up in a whirlwind of more questions than answers!? It’s that crazy thing people may accuse you of possessing…
an “entrepreneurial spirit”.
If you’ve got the bug, Own it. Explore it. Close your eyes and Think on it. Grab a pencil and Sketch it. Clear out a space and Create it.

Humble Beginnings. JOY.
We all have our moments of doubt. Second guessing ourselves. The long hours. The decisions. The responsibilities. The list is filled with endless possibilities, questions and uncertainties…

The story that three randomly chosen photos above can tell, is filled with lots of love, laughter, insurmountable JOY, tears, front burner and back burner moments. So many to share, I can’t count. Richly appointed story after story. Being blessed beyond measure would be an understatement. The season ran its course over an eight year span of my life, from the point of inception of the “idea” itself, to sale of the business (down the line), to its most current and newest owners. The legacy carries on today…in the spirit of new hearts & hands. Hearts and hands filled with their ideas, rich enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit and love.
I’m forever grateful!

I’ve been asked if I would do it over again, in another place and time? I used to say, “no, I don’t think so” or “that ship has sailed.” But there’s a funny thing that happens with dreams, especially the ones that become realities. Sometimes they never leave you. The “idea” finds ways to entice you to “dream it”, in a sort of new way. Guided by wisdom gained and learned experiences over time. It’s very beautiful when you can switch out your old lenses with new ones. It brings new meaning and purpose to mind.
Today, if I am asked that question…
I answer more along the lines of, “yes, I would do it again.”
When the artisan heart of creativity, baking, love for community/people collide…the possibilities are endless
What have you done with an idea?
💡
The type that may have woken you out of a dead sleep, stopped you in your tracks or stirred your soul into overdrive?
If so, I hope it turned out to be Amazing!
With Love,
